Strider

I was exploring rapid prototyping, failing faster and the idea of approaching game mechanics from both a thematic perspective and an interaction perspective.

The game was designed to play be a variation on Flappy Bird that has a similar level of simplicity but with a focus on thematic cohesion: 
 - The play space is 2-dimentional and a water skater/strider lives entirely on the surface of still water.
 - There is a bit of a cooldown for how fast the real insect can skate, they have to get back into position to go again and so I paced the obstacles around that real-world limitation.

How to play :

Space Bar - Start game, Respawn, Dash
Left/Right or A/D - Rotate.
